Why do people still gamble at twin river casino?
I was wondering why people still go to Twin River casino in RI when the machines hardly pay out anymore? The website mentions rewards of 1000 points(pennies). Yes, I said pennies. I did quit, too expensive. Machines pay out 70 percent and the greedy state get 61 percent of the 29 percent of the remaining profit. Why don’t people quit or go to Connecticut?

It’s a casino and people like going to casinos. It doesn’t matter whether people win or lose. In fact, most people know they will lose but they go anyway.
If you go to Connecticut, MAYBE the machines will pay out a little better, but you STILL are going to lose money. The same question right back to you: WHY would you go to a casino in Connecticut??? You KNOW you’re going to lose more than you’re going to win, right??? You go because you enjoy it. (Either that or you go because you might be deluded in thinking you can BEAT these machines. You can’t.)
