There is a new hotel/casino in Laughlin Nevada called the Aquarius. What old hotel building does it occupy?
Is it the old “Sam’s Town” which later became, I think, “The Flamingo”? Who knows the history of Laughlin? What is the history of the casino‘s and hotels and their various incarnations?

Aquarius Casino Resort formerly known as the Flamingo Hilton is the largest hotel and casino located in Laughlin, Nevada. The Hotel opened on August 1, 1990. In 2000, Hilton broke off with Ballys Entertainment the hotel was changed to the Flamingo Laughlin removing Hilton from the name. The Flamingo Laughlin became the Aquarius in October 2006. So I would not say it is new.
