I just want to learn the basic structure of the games. I’m not interested in odds made by mathematicians or the pet strategies of various players .etc, I just want to know how to play.

Is there a good resource? There are so many gambling games out there, is there like a “cliff notes on gambling games” or something? Some kind of encyclopedia? Like go to section ‘B’ and there is a paragraph on blackjack . So many different variations of these games,I just want to see their structure and rules, then I can think about them myself.

Books or websites to recommend? Or any other resources? Or you could just explain here lol.

i was planning on holding a small poker tournament in a non-casino building in Michigan. I wasn’t going to take a cut of the pot only charge money for people to get in. The pot is a 100% give. Is this legal? It would be a big help if you could also post a link to specific legislature that states the laws about gambling. Thanks.

i’m having a casino party, what type of foods and drinks can i serve that don’t contain alcohol

I am trying to get from Ithaca, NY to Turning Stone Casino but I don’t have a car. After looking at all of the options, the only ones seem to be going to Syracuse via bus and then taking an expensive shuttle bus there. Does anybody know any alternatives? I am looking for some bus in the Ithaca area that goes directly to Verona. Thanks.
