All of this is theoretical of course. If I were to open a casino of sorts between friends, what games should I have? Blackjack tends to win a lot, and I couldn’t get my hands on a roulette wheel (even if I wanted to). Is casino poker even a reasonable option? How does that work, by selling chips? I realize that state gambling laws prohibit actual gambling and changing of money, but like I said before, this is theoretical.

With Blackjack: you simply are the house and have the overall inherent advantage (and disadvantages) of the house position. This mathematical advantage could be severely diminished, and even reversed, if you deal a one deck game . . and if you run the cards all the way out with two decks or more (shuffle after each round or two). The main disadvantage is that you must have a bankroll large enough to pay off all winners.
You (theoretically) tend to lose friends, in these situations, when they lose a lot of money.
Oh, and you would need to get registered chips so players can’t bring in ones identical to what you’re using!
