I will be moving there in a few months and have sent about 20 resumes to casinos from Seattle to Everett. But I still haven’t had a response yet. I have 10 yrs of cardroom/casino experience as a dealer and floorsupervisor. Can anyone help, please????????
The casinos I referred to didn’t post any job openings. Should I make a trip there and apply in person? Any suggestions?

If you’re going to live anywhere in the northern area, you could definitely get a job at the Nooksack River Casino where I work. It’s typically a training ground, and because of that, they’re always looking for new dealers and floor. I’ve been there for a month and a half. I had no experience when I started there. It’s a very good place to work. The trade off for getting trained is that they don’t pay as much, but the benefits are amazing (medical, vision, dental for just $20 every other week). They would likely pay more for experience though.
If that’s too far north for ya, then all i can tell you is that I’ve heard there are a ton of casinos in the Seattle area, and that they generally require 2 years dealing experience to get hired there. It shouldn’t be too hard for you once you get there, and as I said, if you’re desperate, as long as you’re personable, you would have 0 difficulty getting hired at the Nooksack.
