Just curious as to whether or not you need a proper id to gamble on sports in a casino? I.E is it required when you place/cash a bet?
Say for example, you have a real id that looks like you. What would happen if you went in, placed a bet , won, and tried to cash it. How would that play out? Also, is that illegal? If they found out would they call the police? Thanks.

To gamble on anything in a casino, requires you being of age. If you place a cash bet, you could or could not be carded at that time. Depends if they think you’re of age or not. Also, if you win and try to cash in, they can card you again then. If they determine that your ID is fake, you can’t keep the money you won, and you’ll be kicked out of the casino..

The problem is that if you win any significant amount of money like more than a few hundred bucks, they will fill out a tax form on you. If you lie on that, you are now committing tax fraud and the government will destroy you.
So you might have nothing bad happen to you, but equally you could get kicked out or arrested. It’s all the luck of the draw, and how good your fake ID is.
